Dear Sam,
Thanks for your email. It’s always great to hear from you.
In your message you ask me about Victory Day. Well, this day commemorates the victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War on May 9, 1945. On this day, military parades are held in major cities, people lay flowers at war memorials, and veterans are congratulated. There are also fireworks in the evening. As for my family, we traditionally visit the memorial to honor our great-grandfather who fought in the war. We bring flowers and watch the military parade on TV together.
By the way, I’d like to ask you about the volunteer group you have mentioned in your email. What kind of volunteer work should be done in the volunteer group? Where is the volunteer office located? Is the group popular among teenagers in your city?
That’s all for now. I’m looking forward to your answer.
Best wishes,
Ann

I am doing a project on how to improve life in the countryside for people in Zetland. As a part of my work, I have found a table with some results of a survey conducted among Zetland rural residents. I am going to comment on the data and express my opinion on the subject of the project.
According to the table, more than a quarter of the respondents (28%) choose the option “To provide the Internet” answering the survey question “What can be done to improve your life in the rural environment?”, while less than a fifth of the polled (16%) opt for the response “To build sports facilities”. Surprisingly, only 5% of the people have an opinion that public transport is important for better life in the countryside.
Looking more closely at the given data, one can notice that the number of those who consider building schools and hospitals to be essential to develop life in the rural area (32%) is much bigger that the percentage of those who would like to have more events (19%). Obviously, developed infrastructure is more important for Zetland rural residents than entertainment. Unfortunately, some problems can arise when living in the countryside. One of them is that there is not a wide range of goods in local stores. To solve this issue, people should go to the nearest city once a week to do the big shopping.
In conclusion, I think that making good roads would improve the rural living conditions. I have no doubt about it because today there is hardly a family that does not have a personal car. Good roads save money on car repairs.

I am doing a project on why it is difficult for young professionals to find a job in Zetland. As part of my work, I have found a pie chart with the results of a survey conducted among Zetland young specialists. I am going to comment on the data and give my opinion on the issue.
According to the pie chart, the most common response to the survey question “Why is it difficult for you to find a job being a young professional?” is “A lack of professional experience” with 36% of the respondents. 32% of those surveyed choose the option “Low salaries”. Interestingly, only 7% of the polled young professionals consider high competition to be the main reason of challenges while trying to be hired.
It is also clear from the pie chart that the percentage of those who find looking for a job difficult because of weak personal branding (15%) is 8% higher than that of the surveyed who opt for high competition (7%). Obviously, being able to present oneself in the most favorable light increases the chances of finding a job even under the competitive pressure which makes it more important.
Unfortunately, some problems can arise with starting a job for a young professional. One of them is inability to solve some issues at work due to the lack of proper experience. In order to solve it one should ask more qualified specialists for advice.
In conclusion, I believe that finding a good job for young professionals is very important because the starting point can significantly influence their future career. Moreover, it ensures meeting a lot of more skilled people in different work spheres.
